The Harrison/Simon duets are considered two of the absolute best of the bunch, and for good reason. There's something intimate and beautiful about the performances; pay close attention to Simon's harmonies on "Here Comes the Sun," Harrison's ethereal lead vocals on "Homeward Bound" and his smooth little pentatonic lick at the very end of the clip (we also dig the phantom 7th chord heard during the last chorus of "Homeward Bound"). And let's not forget those groovy sweaters.
Lyrics
Here comes the sun (doo doo doo) Here comes the sun, and I say It's all right Little darling, it's been a long cold lonely winter Little darling, it feels like years since it's been here Here comes the sun (doo doo doo) Here comes the sun, and I say It's all right Little darling, the smiles returning to the faces Little darling, it seems like years since it's been here Here comes the sun Here comes the sun, and I say It's all right Sun, sun, sun, here it comes Sun, sun, sun, here it comes Sun, sun, sun, here it comes Sun, sun, sun, here it comes Sun, sun, sun, here it comes Little darling, I feel that ice is slowly melting Little darling, it seems like years since it's been clear Here comes the sun Here comes the sun, and I say It's all right Here comes the sun (doo doo doo) Here comes the sun It's all right It's all right Songwriters: George Harrison Here Comes the Sun lyrics © The Bicycle Music Company
